From a checklist to a joining process.

The template works on paper. In ValiCrew, the same list becomes tasks with owners and due dates counted from the joining day — the new hire signs their contract and uploads their documents on their phone, and you see what is still open.

Questions

What are joining formalities in the UAE?

The paperwork and set-up around a new hire: the signed offer and contract, passport, visa and Emirates ID copies, the work permit or labour card, medical insurance, bank details for salary, equipment and access, policies and an induction.

Who should own each onboarding task?

HR for contracts and applications, the PRO for government transactions, operations and IT for equipment and access, the supervisor for the induction — and the new hire for their own documents.

Can I change the template?

Yes. Add, remove or reorder anything; it is yours to edit and share. The Excel version has a drop-down in the Done column and shades a row once it is marked done.
