Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-08-02
What a ValiCrew workspace may not be used for. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
The principle
ValiCrew holds sensitive information about real people — identity documents, salaries, whereabouts. Everything below follows from taking that seriously.
You must not
Use it unlawfully. Including processing personal data without a lawful basis, or in a way that breaks UAE labour, immigration or data-protection law.
Record people who have nothing to do with your workforce or clients. The platform is for administering work, not for keeping files on people.
Misuse location data. Clock-in coordinates exist so a supervisor can review an attendance exception. They are not a tracking tool, and using them to monitor staff outside working time is a breach of this policy.
Share logins. Every user must be an identified individual. A shared account destroys the audit trail that makes the platform trustworthy, and it makes an access review meaningless.
Attack or probe the platform. No penetration testing without written permission, no attempts to access another workspace, no circumventing rate limits or access controls, no denial-of-service. Legitimate security research is welcome — see Vulnerability Disclosure.
Upload malicious files. Uploads are scanned; deliberately submitting malware is a breach whether or not the scan catches it.
Put other people's data on the shared ideas board. Suggestions are shown to every ValiCrew customer. Your name and company are not attached, but the text is read by strangers — so no staff or client names, no salaries, no document numbers, nothing commercially confidential. Use a ticket for anything that needs specifics. See Feedback, Suggestions & Recordings.
Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
Overload it. Automated bulk operations that degrade the service for others — including scripted use of the interface in place of a supported import.
Use it to harass, discriminate or retaliate. Including using the scheduling or rules features to disadvantage someone on the basis of a protected characteristic.
Reporting a breach of this policy
Tell us at [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to investigate — the workspace, what happened, and when.
What we do about it
Where it is reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Where a breach is serious — an active attack, unlawful processing, or a risk to other customers — we may suspend a workspace immediately and investigate afterwards. We will explain why, and what has to change before it is restored.
We do not routinely inspect workspace contents. We look only where we have a specific reason: a report, a security incident, or a legal requirement.
