Feedback, Suggestions & Recordings

Last updated 2026-08-02

Signed-in users see a small widget inside the workspace. It does four things, and one of them needs reading before you use it.

What's new

A changelog of what has changed in ValiCrew. Read-only, and it sends nothing.

Suggestions — the shared board

You can suggest an improvement, and see what other companies have suggested. Everyone using ValiCrew can vote suggestions up or down. Ideas with the strongest support go to our team for review, and anything we build from them reaches every company at no extra cost.

This is deliberate. Small operators rarely get a say in the software they depend on, and a shared roadmap is how one price can still mean the product moves in the direction its users actually need.

Your suggestions are shown to other ValiCrew customers without your name or your company's name. Nobody sees who suggested what, or who voted.

But the text you write is visible to them. Please do not put anything in a suggestion that you would not want another company to read:

  • names of your staff, clients or residents
  • salaries, identity document numbers or contact details
  • anything commercially confidential about how you operate

Anonymity protects who you are. It cannot protect what you type. If you need to describe a real case, describe the situation rather than the people — or raise a ticket instead, which is private.

You can ask us to remove a suggestion you posted at any time.

Tickets

Report a problem privately. Only our team sees it, and whatever you write is used to investigate and answer you.

Screen recordings — read this before you record

You can record your screen to show us a problem instead of describing it. This is always something you start deliberately — nothing records in the background — and your browser asks permission and shows you what is being shared while it happens.

A recording captures whatever is on the screen at the time. In this application, that will usually include real personal data about real people: employee names, identity document references, salaries, schedules, client details.

So before you record:

  • close or navigate away from anything you do not need us to see, particularly payroll and identity documents
  • record the smallest thing that demonstrates the problem
  • if the problem is on a screen full of sensitive data, consider a ticket describing it instead

We treat recordings as your workspace data. They are covered by the Data Processing Agreement exactly as the rest of your data is: we use them only to investigate the problem you reported, we do not use them for anything else, and access is limited to the people working on it.

Where this data goes, and for how long

Suggestions, tickets and recordings are handled by our own support system, operated by Lenouar and hosted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates — the same country as the rest of your workspace data. It is not a third-party feedback service, and your data is not passed to one.

Tickets and recordings are deleted once the issue they document is resolved. A recording exists to fix a bug, and it has no reason to outlive the fix.

Suggestions stay on the board while they are open, because their whole purpose is for other companies to vote on them.

Turning it off

The widget appears only for signed-in users and only inside the workspace — never on the public site, and never to someone who is not signed in. It sends nothing unless you submit something.

If you would rather your workspace did not have it at all, write to [email protected].
