Find your way around
The dashboard, the menu and its three groups, the company switcher, search, notifications and the language button, all in one page.
On this page
The panel has the same layout on every screen: the menu down one side, a top bar across the page, and the screen you are working on in the middle. This page walks through each part so you know where things live.
Everyone who signs in to the panel sees the Dashboard and the menu. Each menu item appears only when your role can open it, so two people may see different menus.
The dashboard
Dashboard is the first item in the menu and the screen you land on. Under its title you see today's date in your company's time zone and the company you are in.
- Across the top, four numbers: Overdue documents, Expiring in 30 days, Waiting for approval and Shift coverage, this week.
- Needs attention lists what is waiting for someone, most urgent first. Use Show to pick All, Documents, Approvals or Open shifts, and act with Review, Assign or Open.
- Expiring in the next 90 days charts what runs out week by week, with a link to the Renewal calendar.
- Today's coverage, Recent activity and Off this week sit beside it.
- Further down, charts show your staff mix, vehicles and drivers, time off over the next 8 weeks, and hours worked against hours planned this month.
To add something quickly, choose New and then Employee, Shift or Document.
The menu
The menu is split into three groups:
| Group | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overview | What needs you today: Dashboard, Expiries, Approvals, Requests, Tasks, Work Schedule and Map. |
| Manage | What you look after: Vehicles, Staff, Places, Third parties, Assets, Access register, Attendance, Salary, Reports and Settings. |
| Setup | Workspace-wide tools: Workspace, Lists & catalogs, Import data and Audit trail. This group starts folded; choose its name to open it. |
Many items open a screen with tabs across the top, one tab for each part of the subject. Settings has its own menu down the side, split into This company and Workspace · every company.
On a computer, the button at the foot of the menu folds it down to icons, which leaves more room for wide tables. Choose it again to open the menu.
The top bar
- The company switcher: when you can reach more than one company, the first item in the top bar shows the one you are in. Choose it to switch to another. See Add your companies.
- The expiry ticker: the next documents to run out scroll across the bar, with how many days are left. If you can open documents, choose one to go straight to it.
- The bell: it shows how many notifications you have not read. Choose it to read them, and choose Mark all as read to clear the count. Some important notices cannot be dismissed; you can still mark them as read.
- Your menu: your initials, at the end of the bar, open your account page, the Notifications history and Sign out.
See Notifications and email and Your account.
Search
The search box sits at the top of the menu. Type a staff code, a vehicle plate or a client's name, then choose a result to open it. Press Ctrl and K (Command and K on a Mac) to jump to the box from anywhere.
Search only shows records your role can open, in the company you are in. Most lists also have their own search box above the table, for names and other details.
Change the language
The language button is at the foot of the menu and shows the language you are using now. Choose it and pick English, العربية (Arabic), اردو (Urdu), മലയാളം (Malayalam) or Filipino. Each language is listed in its own script.
The whole panel changes straight away. Arabic and Urdu read from right to left, so the menu moves to the right-hand side.
